What is Yuhzimu? The BICO Technology

Yuhzimu is not a standard spunbond or needle-punched nonwoven. Its superiority lies in its unique patented manufacturing process that produces a BICO (BICOmponent) nonwoven fabric.

  • The filaments themselves are engineered as bicomponent fibers, typically with a core-sheath structure:
  • The core is usually made of a strong, resilient polymer like polyester, providing the backbone and dimensional stability.
  • The outer sheath is made of a lower-melting-point polymer, most often polyamide (nylon).

 

This ingenious construction is the source of Yuzhimu's exceptional properties. During production, heat is applied, causing the nylon sheath to soften and melt slightly. As the web of filaments cools, the sheaths bond firmly to one another at each filament intersection. This creates a monolithic, thermally bonded fabric that is incredibly strong and uniform.
