Production Process of Yuzhimu Nonwoven Fabrics
Bicomponent Filament Spinning
The process begins with the extrusion of endless bicomponent filaments. Typically, these filaments consist of a polyester (PET) core and a sheath made from polymers such as polypropylene (PP) or polyamide (PA6). This combination allows for customization of the fabric's properties, including strength, chemical resistance, and thermal stability.
Web Formation and Thermal Bonding
The filaments are laid down into a uniform web through a specialized laying-down technique. Subsequently, the web undergoes thermal bonding, where heat is applied to fuse the filaments at their crossover points. This results in a stable, non-fraying fabric with high dimensional stability.
